More About Me

I'm Peyton — I’m a dedicated and creative junior at Clemson University majoring in Graphic Communications, where I’ve found a true passion for blending artistic design with technical production. After transferring into the program halfway through my sophomore year, I immediately immersed myself in a wide range of subjects, including digital imaging and color management, screen printing, photography, and web design. I love the process of turning an idea into a final, tangible product that communicates clearly, looks beautiful, and feels intentional.

Outside of academics, I balance creative and professional experience through my long-term role at Stagecoach. I’ve worked there since high school as a sales associate and also manage the store’s Instagram account, where I practice consistent visual branding, customer engagement, and design-based marketing strategy. Whether I’m on the sales floor or behind the scenes creating content, I value organization, adaptability, and thoughtful communication in everything I do.

On campus, I’m an active member of Gamma Phi Beta and currently serve as the Fidelity Chairwoman. In this leadership role, I help foster a supportive chapter environment, promote our core values, and guide essential initiatives that encourage personal growth and accountability among members. This work has strengthened my ability to lead with integrity, manage responsibilities, and support the people around me.

I’m skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom Classic), as well as Figma, and have experience preparing files for both print and digital use. I take pride in my creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset—and I’m always excited to learn something new. As I continue through the Graphic Communications program, I’m eager to gain hands-on industry experience through a full-time internship that allows me to grow, collaborate, and contribute to meaningful creative work.

My Story

My design journey hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been a discovery. When I transferred into Clemson’s Graphic Communications program midway through my sophomore year, I wasn’t just changing majors; I was choosing the kind of work that energizes and inspires me. From my first classes in digital imaging and color management to the hands-on challenges of screen printing and web design, I quickly realized how much I enjoyed bringing visual ideas to life with both creativity and technical precision.

What motivates me most is the process: exploring a concept, refining the details, and watching it transform into something purposeful and complete. Whether it’s a piece of packaging, a color-managed print, a website layout, or a final photograph, I love the moment when everything comes together.

Outside the classroom, I’ve built experience that continues to shape who I am as a designer and as a person. Working at Stagecoach since high school has taught me how to communicate clearly, stay organized, and create consistent, engaging brand visuals through the store’s Instagram account—all while balancing customer service and sales. I’ve learned how to manage responsibility, juggle multiple roles, and adapt quickly, lessons that strengthen every project I take on.

My involvement in Gamma Phi Beta has also been an important part of my college experience. As the chapter’s Fidelity Chairwoman, I help uphold our values, cultivate a positive and meaningful sisterhood environment, and lead initiatives centered around accountability, growth, and integrity. This leadership position has pushed me to grow in confidence, communication, and purpose.

Today, I’m continuing to deepen my skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and print/digital preparation workflows. I’m passionate about creating work that feels thoughtful, intentional, and well-crafted—and I’m excited to continue learning through hands-on industry experience. My goal is to secure a full-time internship that challenges me creatively, fosters my professional growth, and enables me to contribute to meaningful work.
